A sad detail became known on Monday, shortly following the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was confirmed.

According to Mohammad Nami, head of Iran’s Crisis Management Agency, Imam Al-Hashem survived for an hour following the crash, even trying to contact the president’s office. It is worth noting that, based on the initial information that had leaked in the first hours following the crash, there had been some communication attempts by those on board the helicopter.
“No DNA tests were needed to identify the passengers,” said Nami, meanwhile, as reported by the BBC.
