Ibnu Jamil tells about the relationship with Dhofin, the son of his first marriage with Ade Maya.
Ririn Ekawati’s husband said that now he is on good terms again with his son.
Ibnu then admitted that he was very happy and grateful for being able to enjoy the moment with his son.
“Alhamdulillah, God gave us a way, it’s fine, it’s getting better, we walk and eat together,” said Ibnu in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (3/8).
Ibnu also said that he often received questions about never taking pictures with his child.
Ibnu said that the child never liked and wanted to take a photo together.
“But if it’s for a group photo, I don’t think it’s been that long, because his son doesn’t like taking pictures either,” said Ibnu.
“There are some people who ask, ‘How come you never take photos together and post’, because honestly, Dhofin doesn’t like taking photos,” he continued.
Ibnu also said that initially the relationship with Dhofin began to drift apart due to separation from his first wife.
“Initially it was because I separated, and maybe there was something that stuck in Dhofin’s heart, and that made him distant from me,” said Ibnu.
However, Ibn tried hard to improve good relations with his son. He did not think that the prayer to be able to improve relations with children turned out to be realized by God.
“But with good intentions and a serious effort to get closer, and when yesterday came home from Umrah, it turned out that our prayers were answered, my prayers and Ririn’s,” said Ibnu.
In addition, Ibnu is also happy because his son also wants to build a relationship with Ririn.
“Yes, now he can relate again, and he even wants to know Ririn, Dhofin’s relationship with Ririn is also good, we went out together yesterday, thank God we are happy,” concluded Ibnu.
