Governor Ibaneis Rocha met with the current commodore of the Yacht Club, Flávio Pimentel, and with the candidate for commodore in this year’s elections, Luiz André Reis- With the presence of the governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha, and the first lady Mayara, the first day of the traditional June festival at the Yacht Club of Brasília attracted more than five thousand people this Thursday (6/1). The event took place on Friday and continues this Saturday (3), with typical food stalls, inflatable toys for children, square dance performances and lots of music.
- On the occasion, Governor Ibaneis Rocha, together with the former commodore and chairman of the Deliberative Council, Edison Garcia, met with the candidate for this year’s elections for the post of commodore, Luiz André Reis, a sailing athlete. Reis has the support of the club’s current commodore, Flávio Pimentel. Elections are scheduled to take place on October 2 of this year.
