Ibai breaks the audience record on Twitch at The Evening of the Year 4

There is no doubt that La Velada del año, an amateur boxing event between streamers and content creators that features shows with singers and celebrities from around the world, is one of the biggest events on Twitch and in all of Spanish-speaking internet culture thanks to the production of Ibai Llanos, one of the biggest streamers in our language.

Edition following edition, the event manages to surpass itself and break multiple records for in-person and online audiences. For this year, during the Evening of the Year 4, Ibai managed to break his own record with 3.8 million simultaneous users watching the event through Twitch, and it continues to rise at the time of writing this article.

This surpasses its previous record from 2023, when it hosted La Velada Del Año 3, which reached just under 3.5 million viewers.

The record breaking was recorded, verified and announced by the official Twitch account on X, mentioning that “Ibai and the Spanish-speaking community made history once once more. They are internet legends.”

These numbers are added to the thousands of people who attend the event in person, increasing the magnitude of Ibai’s influence on the boxing and streaming scene.

Ibai prepared a new big evening for 2024

As is well known, the main attractions of this event are the fights between streamers and content creators, but it also features the presence of several artists and celebrities to entertain the public present at the Santiago Bernabéu and the viewers on Twitch. Among the artists and celebrities present are: Julieta Venegas, Paulo Londra, Young Miko, David Bisbal, Will Smith, Bizarrap, Anuell AA and more.
