IAS Completes Handling of Mandalika MotoGP Logistics Cargo

ALL logistics for the Indonesian GP which will take place this weekend have arrived in Mandalika, West Nusa Tenggara. InJourney Aviation Services (IAS) as a sub holding of InJourney with the main business lines Ground Handling & Cargo Terminal, Logistics, Hospitality and Operations Support is the party trusted to handle GP Indonesia’s international cargo and logistics.

Since 2021, IAS has handled cargo for MotoGP 2021, MotoGP 2022, WSBK 2022, WSBK 2023 and MotoGP 2023.

The arrival of MotoGP logistics cargo will be carried out in stages starting from 23 August 2024 – 25 September 2024 with a total of approximately 650 tons. On Wednesday (25/9), IAS completed the inbound (arrival) process for MotoGP cargo with a Qatar Airways cargo plane at Lombok International Airport.

This final stage of MotoGP logistics contains race equipment, safety cars and several other equipment.

Main Director of InJourney Aviation Services (IAS), Dendi Danianto, said that his party had completed the inbound (arrival) process for the 2024 MotoGP Race Equipment & Safety Car.

“Cargo from Milan, Italy, via five Qatar Airways cargo planes carrying approximately 500 tons of logistics needs for MotoGP 2024,” said Dendi, Thursday (26/9).

Previously, sea freight from various countries arrived at the Mandalika Circuit on 1-19 September 2024 with a total cargo of 24 containers.

Containers are sent via sea route to the Selamat Lombok NTB Seaport and then transported using a trailer truck to the Mandalika Circuit for the container unloading process. (Z-6)
