The IAAF Intercontinental Tour in Kallithea, Greece, staged various exciting competitions on May 25. In the men’s triple jump arena, Shaanxi star Fang Yaoqing performed well following winning the silver medal in Italy in the last competition. Received a silver medal and created a personal best record of the season. Another Chinese player, the runner-up of the Tokyo Olympics, Zhu Yaming, won the championship with a jump of 17.22 meters (+0.7 m/s) in the third round, which can rank third in the world this year. In addition, Chinese athlete Lu Jiawen won the tie in the women’s high jump with 1.91 meters. She also created her own best result of the season, and 1.91 meters was only 1 centimeter away from her personal best.
The IAAF Intercontinental Tour in Kallithea, Greece, is also known as the “International Jumping Games”, attracting many experts to participate. In the men’s triple jump final, a total of 7 players participated, including Fang Yaoqing and Zhu Yaming. In the previous competition in Grosseto, Italy, they won the silver and bronze medals with 16.81 meters and 16.80 meters respectively. In this game, Zhu Yaming’s state has rebounded significantly. Lu Jiawen took off from a height of 1.80 meters, passed the pole once at heights of 1.80 meters and 1.84 meters, and succeeded in the second attempt at the height of 1.88 meters.
