The kick-off of the mobility fair “IAA Mobility 2023” in Munich was given on Tuesday with the participation of Morocco, represented by the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Mohammed Abdeljalil.
The opening of this event, which takes place from September 5 to 10, was marked by the presence of the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, the German Federal Minister for Digital and Transport, Volker Wissing, as well as other ministers and European officials.
During this ceremony, emphasis was placed in particular on the orientations of future mobility in the world as well as technological and technical advances in the transport sector.
On this occasion, Mr. Abdeljalil paid a visit to the various stands of international operators and manufacturers in the automotive sector, in order to learn regarding the latest technological and digital advances and developments in this sector around the world.
Earlier in the day, Mr. Abdeljalil held a working meeting with his German counterpart, Volker Wissing, on the progress and prospects of cooperation in the field of transport between the two countries. At the end of this meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the International Conference on e-fuels, the two parties examined the framework for bilateral cooperation in the various sectors and decided to work to finalize it. so that it is signed as soon as the opportunity arises and to organize a second Moroccan-German workshop in the field of transport in Morocco in 2024, like the one organized in May 2023 in Berlin.
