Egyptian artist Sawsan Badr revealed her wish to present artworks on women’s issues, especially with regard to “women’s education”, “violence once morest women” and “female circumcision”.
This came during an interview with Fuchsia on the sidelines of her participation in the opening activities of the Cairo Drama Festival, at the Al-Manara Convention Center last Wednesday, where she expressed her happiness at attending the opening ceremony.
Badr spoke regarding honoring the artists at the festival, stressing that this honor, which came from the Syndicate of Acting Professions in Egypt, means a lot to every artist, although some of them won many awards.
And regarding her participation in the movie “The Public Call”, Sawsan Badr expressed her happiness, and praised the artist Mohamed Abdel Rahman “Tota”, stressing that it was a different experience for her in comedy.
Sawsan Badr appeared in an elegant dress signed by the famous Egyptian designer Hani El-Behairy. It was distinguished by its cheerful blue color, with a “one shoulder” trend, and decorated with rose embroidery in the same color, with an extension from the back and one side; To accentuate her slim figure.
