The star of the TV series “Head” and “Connection” (New Channel) talked regarding his friendship with actors who are currently at the front
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, many Ukrainian show business stars have left their creative professions and stood up for the defense of Ukraine. Among them is the actor Maksym Devizorov, who starred in several series of the New Channel (“The First Swallows”, “Novenka” and Fake). His friend and colleague on the set, Oleksandr Rudynskyi, said that they often talk, but almost never talk regarding the war.

– I have many friends at the front with whom I worked in the cinema. We sometimes call with Max Devizorov via video link. I’m uncomfortable asking him anything, mostly he asks regarding everything. We are talking regarding matters in his personal life, because he got married, – said Oleksandr in the YouTube show “Exam. A new reality.” – Of course, I can see the change that has taken place in him, I can see it in his eyes. But I keep saying: “Max, do you even imagine how you will come back? I will not be able to stand in the frame with you. You will just eat me. Because he became much more emotionally fulfilled!” – Sasha shares with a smile. – He seems to have developed emotional muscles. He pumped them. And this is very important for the profession of an actor.

Unfortunately, no war is without casualties. On July 19, 2023, the world of Ukrainian cinema lost the talented actor Yevhen Svitlychny.
– Zheka Svitlichnyi is a wonderful guy who worked with us. We played together in Oleg Sentsov’s film “Rhino”. They met on the playground, became friends, and started talking. When he had a bullet wound in his hand, he came to Kyiv, we walked with him all day long, – recalls Oleksandr. – And Zheka really liked going to the theater. Recently, his father, he is from Kryvyi Rih, came to my theater for the play “Caligula”. It was probably the best performance I’ve played in my life.
