I will not resign on anyone’s wish: Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi

Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has said on Monday that since I pcb I have become chairman, people want me to go home, I will not resign on anyone’s wish.

During a news conference held in Lahore on Monday, he said that this condition of the team has not been going on for three years now. I don’t have a magic wand to fix everything at once.

He said that long-term planning is needed to fix cricket.

“We are conducting the Champions Cup and will make a pool of 150 players out of it. This will strengthen our domestic cricket.’

He further said that ‘by September, the cup will be over and everyone will have a record.’

On the question of Pakistan’s first test defeat against Bangladesh, he said that the defeat against Bangladesh is very disappointing. The selection committee has given 17 players, it is the decision of the coach and the captain to feed them.

He added that ‘Bangladesh was defeated, we have to accept it and see that it doesn’t happen again.’

According to him: ‘I have no magic wand to say the next match will be out of the way.’

In response to a question regarding Rawalpindi’s wicket, he said that ‘the pitch report will also be available by tomorrow.’

On the question of shifting the second Test match from Karachi to Rawalpindi, he said that ‘the decision to hold the match in Karachi was not mine before, the security officials did not agree with the decision to hold the match there with constructions.’
