Nearly 120 people attended, including political and business figures, soccer coach Park Hang-seo and Vietnamese guests.
Today, I visited Cheongwadae Sangchunjae, where guests are greeted, along with the Vietnamese president.
Regarding the reason for choosing the State Alex Reed House, the Presidential Office said, “It is meaningful in terms of the succession of history and tradition and the recycling of practical space.”

In the meantime, the president’s guesthouse has wandered around in many places.
US President Biden met at the National Museum of Korea, the Indonesian President at the presidential office, the Saudi Crown Prince at the official residence in Hannam-dong, and the Kenyan President at the hotel.
However, in the end, the problem was that there was no place as worthy as the Blue House guesthouse.
After leaving the Blue House, the president’s office pushed ahead with a plan to build a new guesthouse at a cost of 87.8 billion won, but canceled it due to criticism.
The guesthouse underwent major renovations last year.
The Democratic Party, which opposed the relocation of the presidential office, criticized why they moved the presidential office if this was the case.

I urge the public to apologize for the hasty relocation of the Presidential Office.”
The President’s office said, “When preparing for the state dinner, the rest of the space except for the guesthouse area was normally open to visitors.”
“We will continue to make practical use of the guesthouse for events worthy of our national status,” he said.
