Make yourself comfortable in theAstral Express for a trip to Penacony in order to discover the land of dreams which is offered to us by HoYoverse sur Honkai Star Rail.
Penacony, the world of Dreamland
Place under the control of the Family of which they belong Robin et Sunday, Penacony allows you to escape from reality by returning to the Land of Dreams thanks to the Fountain of Dreams. In our case, it isHotel Reverie that our adventure begins following the invitation of the Sans Noms for the Festival Ôdiapason. Enough to be able to rest a little following everything that happened at Luofu de Xianzhou. Well, that’s the plan, but this place isn’t actually the paradise that many people seem to think it is. If, in the first half hour, we appreciate discovering The Golden Hour, which offers a new environment, the story quickly brings us back to reality.
Indeed, the contrast between what is shown in dreamland and what we learn in the story makes us want to know what is happening in this two-sided world. Nothing but the part that we were able to discover in this 2.0 update was able to pique my interest by offering a fun and amusing side with numerous activities and mini-games followed by a brutal return to reality mixing sadness, tragedy and melancholy to which we don’t particularly expect it at first glance. Special mention to the relationship between Firefly et the Pioneer which is important to highlight this transition. Obviously, we also have Sparkle, Aventurine or Black Swan who are present and whose roles will sow doubt in your mind.
An update that offers cool content and additions
As you wander through Dreamland, you will see that this place is simply a megalopolis in which people have fun. You will find classic characters there, but also more special things like flying ice cream, signs that will chase you, Chronou, la mascotte de Révôpolis. The latter will be able to help you get out of difficult situations thanks to the power of the Pendulum which allows you to change the emotions felt by the inhabitants of Penacony. You will also find it in mini-games in which you have to create passages to collect gears in order to repair clocks. Besides that, there is the possibility of playing bubble pinball by entering cabins to reach defined locations or evenplay as Hanu in infiltration levels quite nice to do.
But the world of dreams reserves many more surprises with puzzles to complete to make things appear in front of you, the use of the bubble fountain to walk on the walls as well as the ceiling or even the eye of the dream which changes the perspective of your surroundings to create a non-existent passage. After having tested each mini-game or mechanics of Penacony several times, we appreciate the fact that they are more interesting than those of previous worlds. Another element that was added that we like is the fork in destiny which will allow you to find your different quests in a timeline to make it easier to find your way around. This makes it difficult to forget side missions.
Finally, I really enjoyed the first part of this adventure in Penacony and I can’t wait to see more to know where the search for truth will take us while continuing to complete numerous challenges in the hope that some of them might be a bit more difficult.
