“I want to be recognized by Eun-hae like Hyun-soo” Victim of valley murder appeals while alive

It turns out that victim A (39 years old at the time of his death), a victim of the ‘Gapyeong Valley Murder Case’, sent a message to his accomplice and ex-boyfriend Jo Hyun-soo (30), wishing to restore the relationship with his wife Lee Eun-hae (31, female) while he was alive. There is a claim that Mr. A was subjected to ‘gaslighting’, a type of mental abuse by Lee Eun-hae.

According to Channel A’s report on the 9th, Mr. A confided to Jo Hyun-soo in January 2019 through a social networking service (SNS) message, saying, “I don’t want to hear Eun-hae Lee say she is garbage.”

He was also reported to have sent messages such as “I don’t want to hear that I am a psychopath and want to be respected” and “I am afraid that Eun-hae will get annoyed and swear.”

Mr. A also sent a message to the effect of wishing for the restoration of the relationship with Lee Eun-hae, saying, “I want to be recognized by Eun-hae like Hyun-soo” and “I want to be recognized and live well by Eun-hae.”

Experts analyzed that Mr. A must have been gaslighted by Lee Eun-hae, a type of mental abuse.

Professor Lee Su-jeong of the Department of Criminal Psychology at Kyonggi University appeared on KBS News ‘D-Live’ on the same day and said, “Lee Eun-hae was malicious and monitored A’s every move. Nevertheless, as a wife, she became devotedly affectionate, and Lee Eun-hae used that affection to apply various kinds of psychological pressure that might be called ‘gaslighting’.”

In fact, it is known that Mr. A was a researcher at a large company and was receiving an annual salary of 60 million won.

Meanwhile, on June 30, 2019, at 8:24 pm, they are accused of forcing A, who might not swim, to dive in Yongso Valley, Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, and drowned. Prosecutors believe that they committed the crime for 800 million won in insurance money.

Lee Eun-hae and Cho Hyun-soo are also accused of trying to kill A by feeding him food mixed with puffer fish testes and blood at a pension in Yangyang-gun, Gangwon-do in February 2019, but failed to do so because the lethal dose was insufficient. In May of the same year, while trying to kill A by drowning him at a fishing site in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, an acquaintance of Mr. A found him, and Mr. A came out of the water, and the attempted crime stopped.
