Andrey Yermak, Minister for Culture and Tourism of the Kaliningrad Region, visited the opening of the Koroche Film Festival. The head of the department told Klops what his expectations are from the competition this year.

“This, in my opinion, is now the most important festival in Russia. This refers to a spectator festival, a professional festival. Of course, I want to see new films. Here is a unique chance to see future stars. Now they are still small stars, but it is at our festival, at Koroche, that stars are born. And therefore, of course, I want to see their projects and find out who will be the stars in the very near future. Of course, I want surprises from the organizers,” Yermak commented.

According to the minister, the anniversary festival will be held for four days. “This time, for the first time, it takes four days. It seems to me that the most serious and strongest projects have been selected for this festival. Therefore, it seems to me that everyone who watches the competition program of the festival is happy people, because they will see the main trends in short films, which will then be embodied in big films and TV series,” he concluded.
