I swam by myself… Comprehensive dramatic rescue of missing people in Pohang underground parking lot

A man who went missing while trying to get a car out of a flooded underground parking lot in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province, was rescued.

The fire department said on the 6th that “a person who went missing in a flooded underground parking lot was rescued alive.” Witnesses said that when a missing person was seen swimming near the entrance to the parking lot, rescue teams tied a rope and rescued them.

The rescued residents are said to be in relatively healthy condition. An official from the rescue team said, “The resident held the pipe above and swam by himself and saw it with the naked eye and rescued it. I wish there was,” he said.

At around 7:41 am on the 6th, when heavy rain was pouring due to a typhoon, I went to get a car from an apartment underground parking lot in Indeok-dong, Nam-gu, Pohang-si, but there was a report that there was no contact.
