“I should have done something”: Michael Jackson, his ex-wife reveals to feel guilty for his death

Debbie Rowe, ex-wife of Michael Jackson, confided, in a rare testimony for TMZ, on the guilt that has inhabited her since the disappearance of the king of pop.

In June 2009, Michael Jackson died at age 50 from cardiac arrest caused by his addiction to painkillers, leaving behind a world bereft of his unique voice. “I should have done something and I didn’t”confided his ex-wife Debbie Rowe in tears in the framework of of the survey carried out by TMZ : “Who Really Killed Michael Jackson”. She testifies, overwhelmed by regret that she didn’t do more to help the King of Pop when he became addicted to drugs. “There are a number of people who have died from addictions and in a way I was one of them” she blurted out.

Debbie Rowe, 63, nursemeets Michael Jackson while she is the assistant of dermatologist Arnold Klein, whom the singer consults for his skin problems. They married in 1996, 15 years following their meeting, in a secret ceremony in Sydney, Australia. They divorced three years later, in 1999. The couple, however, keep an excellent relationship, to the point that she becomes the surrogate mother. of two of his children: Prince and Paris.
