“I saw her and I killed her” –

Sharon Verzeni murder, Moussa Sangare has made a “full confession” for the murder of the 33-year-old barmaid. This is what we learn from investigative sources. The arrest made on the night between August 29 and 30 immediately bore fruit. The man reportedly told investigators: “I saw her and I killed her. I can’t explain why it happened.” It all happened on Via Castegnate. On that street, at 00:52 on the night between July 29 and 30, Sharon was stabbed four times. The barmaid had gone out for a walk.

“Serious Evidence of Guilt”. Plot Twist, Sharon’s Killer Found?

His name is Moussa Sangare, the 31-year-old arrested for the murder of Sharon Verzeni. Born in Milan to a family of African origin, the 31-year-old, of Italian nationality, lived in Suisio, a town in the Bergamo area, just 5 kilometers from Terno d’Isola. Unemployed and with no criminal record, Sangare did not know Sharon Verzeni. The murder of the 33-year-old is currently considered by investigators to be “without apparent motive”. The woman was returning home after a night-time stroll through Terno d’Isola, when she was fatally stabbed four times along Via Castegnate, the town’s main street. The video surveillance cameras did not record the moment of the murder but did capture the image of a man on a bicycle speeding the wrong way along Via Castegnate at the time of the crime. It is from those frames that the Carabinieri of the Bergamo provincial command, coordinated by the prosecutor Emanuele Marchisio and the acting prosecutor Maria Cristina Rota, arrived at Moussa Sangare. The 31-year-old was stopped exactly one month after the murder of Sharon Verzeni, “at the end of complex and laborious investigations”. The investigators collected “serious evidence of guilt, evidence of the risk of repeating the crime, of concealing evidence, as well as the risk of fleeing”.
