[OSEN=박하영 기자] ‘Idol Singles 4’ Ricky and Harim confirmed their feelings for each other following revealing their children.
In MBN’s entertainment show ‘Idol Singles 4’, which aired on the 17th, the presence or absence of children of 10 single men and women was revealed. Ahead of the release on this day, Harim said, “I’m so nervous. “I’m releasing information,” she said, but ended up bursting into tears. The reason is because of concern for Ricky.
As the time came to reveal whether or not they had children, Jerome, Benita, Jisoo, and Dewey revealed that they had no children. On the other hand, Ricky attracted attention by confessing that he had a 7-year-old son. He said, “The child is very thoughtful and lovely. It is the greatest treasure. His name is Kay, and he is in first grade. He likes video games. “He likes watching movies.”
Ricky also said regarding the reason he moved to Irvine, “I am raising children with my ex-wife. I raise the child 50% and my ex-wife raises the child 50%. The reason I moved to Irvine is because my ex-wife has a boyfriend and he also has a child. He said he was from Irvine and wanted to stay in his hometown. “It was to be close to my son,” he explained. I did my best to keep my promise. “I have never broken that promise,” he said, adding that his son looks exactly like him.
Next is Harim’s turn. Regarding Harim’s story regarding raising three children alone, Jihye Lee said, “My children are 6 and 3 years old, and it is really difficult to raise them while working. I can’t even imagine how difficult it is. I think that’s why she cried. I felt like there was a reason why I kept crying. It’s probably going to be really hard. “It feels like heaven right now, like a dream I don’t want to wake up from,” she said, shedding tears together.
After revealing the presence of all children, Ricky hugged Harim and comforted her. Harim shed tears of regret, gratitude, and relief, and Ricky said, “Everything is okay.” And while Ricky was having alone time with Harim, he said, “I really like you. I really, really like it. Did you understand?” he confessed, receiving cheers from the MCs.
Ricky also praises Harim, who is raising three children alone, saying that she is amazing, and shows a delicate side by understanding the difficult nature of parenting. “I can’t say he expected everything, but he did expect to have a child,” Ricky said in an interview. I know it’s hard, but I want to overcome it. “I just wanted to tell you that everything will be okay from now on,” he said. Contrary to Harim’s worries, when Ricky understood and comforted her, she finally showed her smile, giving her a warm feeling.
Meanwhile, following the child’s confession, a final 1:1 date notice appeared. Jerome immediately approached Benita and invited her to get a stamp together, and the two confirmed their date early the next morning. The same goes for Ricky and Harim. On the other hand, Tom, who woke up just before the end of stamping, missed his date with Benita and chose to go on a date with Sora, the last remaining spot, expressing his disappointment.
Ricky and Harim enjoyed their last date. Like the American version, the two people who asked regarding each other’s ex-wives and ex-husbands attracted attention by showing their cool side to the point where they even suggested a meeting. Even as they were talking regarding their future together, Harim kept bringing up her insecurities and asking questions. Ricky, who sensed such feelings, showed reassurance with confidence.
