Now he has been playing Tabla for 15 years in various wedding ceremonies.
Bilal Loong added that he not only plays the tabla in marriage ceremonies but also performs in his songs with famous Pashto singer Asfandyar Mohmand.
Bilal says that there is a big difference between his playing the tabla and the rest of the people ‘because he plays the tabla differently from them.’
Bilal said: ‘I thought that everyone plays two tablas, one below and one dama, so why not come up with a new innovation in my music to make people like it.’
Says Bilal: ‘When I go to the programme, we start with traditional Pashto music but in the middle people start singing, play ‘long ustaad tik tok wala tabla’.
Bilal says that while playing music, he also uses a special stone with the drum, which makes the music more unique.
