The Syrian actress, Qamar Khalaf, expressed her happiness with her participation in the series “Kharif Omar”, which was shown as part of the last Ramadan drama, in which she played the role of a “mother” of a teenager.

Khalaf said that what attracted her most to appearing in the series was the similarity of its ideas with the old Syrian works, and its handling of problems related to many groups of society, which is what makes the audience follow it, as she put it.

And according to “Sky News”, she confirmed that she used the feelings of her motherhood in her private scenes, noting that her presentation of the “mother” roles at the present time is different from the previous one, because she has children, which makes her present the role in real.

Concessions for the sake of her family

She indicated that her professional choices to participate in any dramatic work have become “calculated” accurately, due to her association with her family and her attachment to them, pointing out that she, in turn, puts them among the priorities of her life.

The Syrian artist explained that because of her motherhood, she pays a “big tax” at the level of her profession, because women bear the greatest burden at work, referring to the “big concessions” she made for them.

Khalaf refused to make her acting career take some of her children’s priority from her, as she might not act “selfishly” with them, as she put it.

And she expressed her longing for the days of childhood because of filming the series in a school, commenting: “I was very tender, and I said, I wish we were young.”

The series “Kharif Omar”

It is noteworthy that the series “Kharif Omar” takes place within a contemporary social and suspenseful framework, and presents ideas with a new vision, within a police template that is not devoid of suspense and action. Alzheimer’s.
