All the Franchise: Can you introduce yourself in a few words?
My name is Lucas Roullet, I’m 25 years old. I completed 5 years of studies in tourism (Master 2 in Management of Tourism Industries) during which I had the chance to work for several structures in different countries (Belgium, Morocco, France). I have worked in hospitality, events and sports and outdoor activities. I’ve always wanted to be an entrepreneur, which is why, 1 year after graduating, in 2021, I went to Portugal to create, with my partner, my first business in the tourism sector. This first experience was very rewarding but personal reasons and an unfavorable context made us decide not to continue this adventure and to start a new one!
TLF: Why did you choose the franchise system, and this network in particular?
Speaking with a business owner friend about my desire to start a new business, he directed / advised me towards franchising. I then formed my own opinion thanks to a lot of research on the operation of the franchise, and I must say that I was very quickly won over. The franchise system is the perfect balance between autonomy and supervision. You are both captain of your boat but you can count on a team, a network, dedicated and attentive, to guarantee you the greatest possible success, in franchise, success is a win / win.
Why this network in particular? I wanted to join a franchise network close to my field of expertise, namely tourism/hotels. Concierge services being an area that has always interested me and which I perceive as being a buoyant and rapidly expanding sector, the “Les Services d’Aline” franchise immediately interested me. Our first contacts and meetings confirmed this to me 100%. I like their humanity, their professionalism, their character, I immediately felt like a member of the team.
TLF: What has your franchisor brought you so far? What do you expect next?
So far, the franchisor has given me many answers to my questions, and there were many! The franchisor also gave me his support and help in all my steps prior to setting up a business, above all I had top-notch training, I have all the cards in my hands to succeed. Admittedly, there is enormous apprehension, but their support, their know-how, and the quality of the tools made available to me give me a certain confidence!
Thereafter, I just hope that we will achieve beautiful and great things together, I hope to make them proud and make me proud too! I hope that hand in hand we will build a franchise that shines.
