Don’t you remember the Kuwaiti Vijayan from the film Monday Nixham? K.U., who won the best actor award for his performance in the first play, started acting as a light boy in plays. Manoj immortalized this role. Now Manoj’s words regarding his experience of meeting actor Mammootty are viral on social media. Manoj says that Mammootty told all his information here, shocking him as he was regarding to introduce himself.
K.U. Manoj’s words:
I want to share with you one of the most beautiful moments of my life. Last days I was dubbing my new movie Pranaa Vilasam at Ernakulam Lal Media. After the first day of dubbing, when he reached the studio the next day, it was an impression that everyone was waiting for someone respectfully.
When I inquired regarding it, I was happy to know that Mammooka is actually coming for dubbing. The studio staff told me, “To tell you the truth, as soon as I heard it, my chill went away.” Then rush to see Mammooka. I continued dubbing following lovingly asking one of the staff to let me know when Mammooka was coming. In between, he came and said, “Mammooka used to go out following dubbing”. I immediately ran out. Mammooka comes out in seconds. Don’t say, “Elephant with a headband”. I slowly approached and gathered my courage to speak. Mammooka said, “I promised on Monday, but Mammooka said…”Ah… I understand, Kuwait Vijayan is not like what I saw in the movie. He is young to look at. I can’t say that he is as hot as Vijayan. What is the background? Has he acted before?”
I said, “Theater and then some small roles in films. The legend of Khazak was in play.
Mammooka had seen the play in Ernakulam. Later he talked regarding drama and cinema. Finally I said “Mammooka a photo”.
“You can take it from the outside. There is little light here.”
So happily Mammooka took this photo for me. A dialogue like what Mammooka said in the movie Priyan Ottamdir when he was regarding to leave, “Get George Manoj’s number.”
I can’t express my happiness…
The water in the throat is also dry…
Went straight to the cabin and drank a whole bottle of water. It took time for the parrot to come back. “Manojetta… let’s see” called once more from the cabin…. Even as the dubbing continued, happiness… and admiration… also came inside. Thank you Mammooka.
