I Have Dyslexia, People Thought It Was A Stupid Man: Sunny Deol

Bollywood actor and recently back in the news with ‘Ghadar 2’, Sunny Deol has revealed that he has been battling dyslexia for a long time.

Sunny Deol has told The India Express in an interview that he has been suffering from learning disabilities since a young age and difficulty memorizing lines on set.

They say that they cannot read or write properly, due to which they face difficulties even while studying in school.

‘Before we didn’t know what it (dyslexia) was and people thought it was a stupid man.’

Dyslexia usually involves difficulty in reading, recognizing, understanding, remembering and writing words.

Sunny Deol says that on the sets he used to repeat his lines many times before going in front of the camera.

‘I always take my dialogues in Hindi, and also take my time to read it. After several readings I make them my own, and that is my preparation for the part.’

Talking to Ranveer Allahabadia earlier this year, Sunny Deol had also told how he had to eat ‘Thuptar’ for not getting good marks during his studies.
