After his success last Ramadan by presenting the character “Zakaria Elwan”, a teacher in Damietta Governorate who receives a widow and her two children following escaping from Alexandria and tries to help them capture the audience’s hearts with details of his relationship with that family in “Under Guardianship”, he recently returned once more to the scene, but with a new personality. In the cinema, through the character “Nasr Al-Sayes”, which he presents in the movie “19 B”, and who enters into conflicts with Sayed Ragab, and Ahmed Khaled Saleh confirmed in his interview with “Al-Arabiya.net” that the scenes that gathered him with the artist Sayed Ragab from confrontations were the closest For his heart, he is also happy with the reactions he receives when the film is shown publicly in cinemas.

* How did you find the film being shown in cinemas?
I am very happy with the audience’s reaction to the film following it was shown in theaters, especially following its great success and the resonance it achieved following showing it at the Cairo Film Festival in its previous session. That the film makes the audience come out of it, following watching it, thinking regarding the differences between them and having a discussion between them is the pinnacle of success for me, and I am happy that I participate in commercial and festival work and be in different molds.
How did you feel regarding participating in this film?
Film 19B is an enjoyable experience and I am proud to have been a part of it. Working with director Ahmed Abdullah is fun and different. I was very excited regarding the experience and said I must be part of this project. The role is completely new to me and different, and in general I consider every character I present as a challenge for which I prepare well. And I search within the character for the human side, and far from being the politician Nasr. Director Ahmed Abdullah wrote the character with many deep details and aspects, and we worked on it together.
The film was filmed in special circumstances, where a large number of animals were trained and controlled for filming, with the help of regarding 12 pets, between dogs and cats.

What is the message or idea that you wanted to convey through this work?
A large part of the message that I liked to convey from the film is the idea of projecting judgments on others and prejudices once morest people when you are not in his place or his position. The film, as I said, is an important human experience for me.
* What is meant by an “important human experience”?
The film itself tells regarding “human beings” and tells regarding the differences and experiences between two people, so the meaning behind the phrase “important human experience” is the idea of accepting the other and the difference, so the idea of not accepting each other brought them to the point that was at the end of the movie.

* And how did you see the “Nasr Al-Sayes” character that you presented, especially since this character had a psychological struggle within it?
“Nasr Al-Sayes” is a human being. In life, he was subjected to injustice and faced many troubles. “He was grieved a lot… and was broken a lot.” At the same time, he wants to achieve many successes in his life, especially following he felt a great interest in the “dogs” that exist. At home, more than taking care of him personally, so I see in “Nasr Al-Sayes” a combination that is present in abundance among us in society. I loved working on that character because I had not presented it before, especially since the events take place in Villa 19B, between two people.
What was the most difficult scene for you?
The most difficult scene I encountered in the film is the last scene that brought me together with Mr. Sayed Ragab, and its difficulty lies in the circumstances surrounding it, and the audience who will see the film will know why this scene was difficult, because it is difficult in everything, especially since we want everything in it to be to a great degree. Precision, even his rehearsals took a long time.

How did you find working with Sayed Ragab?
The artist Sayed Ragab, my beloved, and my uncle is a teacher, standing in front of him added a lot to me in the film, and in general as a way of thinking as an actor, may God increase him, as he still has a lot to offer in his work.
* In Ramadan, you presented the series “Under Guardianship”, which achieved great success?
Indeed, the series achieved great success because it discussed a serious and urgent social issue in Egyptian society, and it received praise from the audience and critics alike. Audiences and critics alike, because the work addresses awareness, seeks change, and approaches the human idea, as it reviews the relationship between a mother and her children, and the issue of guardianship, and therefore the series received upward reactions, all of which are positive, and this matter pleased the entire work team.
On a personal level, I was very optimistic and enthusiastic regarding participating in a work that sheds light on this issue related to the rights of Egyptian women and their denial of guardianship over their children following the death of their husbands. Personally, I experienced similar matters with the Hasbi Council following the death of my father.
* And what regarding the movie “The Journey to Find the White Dress”?
We have already started preparing for the work, and it will be filmed in the coming days, co-starring Yasmine Rais and Asmaa Jalal, and co-produced by director Ahmed Abdullah Al-Sayed with Mohamed Hefzy, and it is the first film directed by Gilan Auf, and I loved her short films very much.
What regarding the movie “Wish in Wush”?
We finished filming the film, which is scheduled to be shown soon in cinemas, and I co-starred with a number of stars, including Muhammad Mamdouh, Amina Khalil, Muhammad Shaheen, Khaled Kamal, Bayoumi Fouad, Anushka, Asmaa Jalal, Muhammad Shaheen, and the work is directed by Walid Al-Halafawi, and its events revolve In a light comic social context, they enter a marital apartment by chance, in which the husband and wife’s families of different cultures meet, and many problems occur between them, during which we see what is happening inside the apartment in one night.
