“I didn’t want to go out on the street”: Priscilla Vargas recalled the disappointments she suffered in Mega where she read names with double meanings on the air

The host of Tu Día, Priscilla Vargas, drew attention following remembering in the morning some jokes that she experienced on the screen following reading curious double-meaning names of users.

It all started when the morning program of Channel 13 analyzed the jokes on the web, when the journalist recalled some failures she suffered on the Mega newscast, according to the site. Page 7.

“I once fell for Elver,” Vargas confessed, referring to the Elver Galarga joke. “The message came to me and I was doing a program very early, but they disguised me,” he assured, explaining that he did not notice that it was a double meaning because the joke had context.

“The message said: ‘I’m going to the airport to look for a cousin who is arriving from Colombia… and his name is Elver,” he recalled without naming the particular “surname” that causes laughter on the web.

“That is not done”

“I finished saying it and said ‘They are bad.’ ‘I’m still sleeping, that’s not done!’” Priscilla Vargas assured, recalling another disappointment that she experienced but in a news broadcast.

“We were with Gianfranco Marcone giving the weather forecast, and they also disguised the joke for me. They began to tell me a story. He’d say, ‘Hey, we’re freezing to death. He is hailing in Lomas…’. I read it and said: ‘Where is that?’ ”, He detailed, referring to the joke of “Lomas turbas”, an event that the news director noticed and challenged her for saying it on the air.

“In a terrible voice he told me: ‘Don’t repeat it!’ (…) I didn’t want to go out, because following 10 minutes it was already a trending topic. I remember that it was raining that day, ”she added with a laugh, starring in a fun moment.
