“I cried with him because I love him so much”.. Ons Jabeur comments on Ronaldo’s crying and reveals her favorite team

The match between Portugal and Slovenia in the round of 16 of the European Nations Cup witnessed Ronaldo crying intensely, due to missing a penalty kick in the 105th and final minute of the first extra time.

Ronaldo then succeeded in converting the first penalty kick into the lead goal for his country, which defeated Slovenia on penalties (3-0) on its way to the quarter-finals of “Euro 2024”.

Ons Jabeur commented on this shot, in statements reported by the German News Agency: “I watched the Portugal vs. Slovenia match, and I was very sad when Ronaldo cried. I cried with him because I love him very much.”

She added: “I expected the Euro Championship to be more exciting. I watched many matches, but they did not live up to expectations.”

“I love the England team and I used to follow them with great passion, and what Jude Bellingham did once morest Slovakia was incredible by putting the ball in such an exciting way,” she continued.

She concluded: “I love football very much and follow it constantly, and I would like to have the opportunity to watch an England national team match.”

It is noteworthy that Ons Jabeur, the “Tunisian Minister of Happiness,” qualified for the third round of the Wimbledon Championship, the third of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments, and will face Ukrainian Elina Svitolina.
