Two-time world figure skating champion Evgenia Medvedeva told “Arguments and Facts”, that he does not plan to return to competitions.
“I continue to skate, jump, but there are no plans to enter tournaments. I please the audience in a different way – I perform in shows and in performances, I conduct master classes, so fans have many opportunities to watch me on the ice, ”said Medvedeva, 23.
According to the athlete, she has no regrets due to the lack of performances in competitions. “To regret something is generally the worst thing. Thank God, in my sports career I did not have to do this. I might continue the competition. If I wanted to. I’ve been more than successful with it. I managed to perform where necessary, where it is not necessary – not to perform, ”added the skater.
Medvedeva is a two-time silver medalist of the 2018 Olympics, a two-time world, European and Russian champion. She has not competed in official competitions since the 2019/20 season, but has not yet officially completed her career.
In recent years, she mainly rides in shows and participates in various television projects.
