Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) dismissed Wahab Riaz and Abdul Razzaq from the national selection committee following which Wahab Riaz’s statement has come.
Wahab Riaz said that I can say a lot but I don’t want to be a part of the blame game, the journey as a member of the selection committee of PCB is over, I tried 100% for the betterment of Pakistan cricket. The vote was equally important, we made the selection decisions as a team. So all members have equal responsibility for decisions.
He further said that how can one man be heavy on seven men, all matters were settled through consultation, he did not support any player out-of-the-way.
He said that there is a documentary record of everything in the form of meeting minutes. I do not agree with the statements that I put pressure on the selection committee members.
