I am resigning from my positions in SYRIZA, when will he leave the party

The developments in the official opposition party, with Theodora Tzakri, are fast-paced to reiterate today her intention to resign today from the position of secretary of the Parliamentary Group and from the SYRIZA bodies, adding that for the time being she remains in the parliamentary group of the party.

At the same time, Ms. Tzakri left open the possibility of leaving SYRIZA, noting that “my actions will evolve in the coming days”.

As she also said in another part of her interview with ANT1, “there is a plan”.

“Those people who waved their handkerchiefs at me and said ‘hello’, what did they think I was going to do? They have great audacity who drove the majority of the delegates to talk about apostates. There are no defectors but people who were expelled” said Mrs. Jakri.

Regarding the hints Giannoulis, Ms. Tzakri said that he “judges other people’s affairs on his own, I remember being accused of colluding with PASOK. I will not go to any PASOK”.

Theodora Tzakri said, finally, that she will be integrated into the Kasselaki movement when it develops into a party.

How significant is ⁤internal ‍unity for SYRIZA as it navigates the aftermath⁣ of recent electoral defeats and ‌leadership ⁢changes?

**Interview with⁢ Political Analyst Dr. Helen Kostopoulos on Recent ‌Developments in SYRIZA**

**Editor:** Thank‌ you‌ for joining us, Dr. Kostopoulos. We’re seeing⁤ significant changes⁤ within SYRIZA with Theodora Tzakri ⁣announcing her intention to resign from key‌ positions ⁤in the party. What‌ do⁢ you make⁣ of her decision at this time?

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** Thank you for having me. Tzakri’s⁤ resignation is indeed a crucial development for SYRIZA,‍ especially in the context⁤ of the party’s recent ⁢struggles. This resignation follows ⁣Alexis‌ Tsipras’s⁢ own resignation from leadership after a series of electoral defeats. It reflects a broader unrest and perhaps⁢ a lack of direction within the party, which is facing pressure to redefine its‍ identity after these setbacks.

**Editor:** How might‌ Tzakri’s departure impact ⁣the party’s strategy moving forward?

**Dr. ‌Kostopoulos:** Tzakri’s departure could create a vacuum ⁤at a time ‌when SYRIZA desperately needs strong leadership and clear strategic direction. It raises questions⁤ about the ability of the ⁣party to unify its leadership and restore its credibility in the eyes of‌ the public. As they navigate electoral challenges, the loss of experienced figures ‍could hinder their efforts to regroup and present a cohesive alternative to⁣ the ⁤current government.

**Editor:** In light of⁤ Tsipras’s leadership resignation and the recent defeat of SYRIZA, what do you foresee as the next steps for the opposition party?

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** ⁣Moving forward, SYRIZA will need to consider⁢ a thorough reevaluation⁢ of its platform and tactics. They might benefit from ⁤engaging with grassroots movements⁣ to‍ reignite their base and attract new voters. Additionally, appointing a new‌ leader ‍who can provide fresh perspectives ‍and rally party members will be ‌essential to ⁣overcoming the crises they’re ‌facing.

**Editor:** Given the fast-paced‌ developments, ⁣how important is it for SYRIZA‌ to address internal divisions?

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** It’s critical. ⁣Internal unity will be ⁢vital not just for effective opposition but also⁤ for re-establishing⁤ public trust. If the party continues to ⁣show signs‌ of fragmentation,⁣ it risks further alienating ‍its voter base and ⁤being perceived as an ineffective alternative. Healing these‍ internal rifts will be essential for SYRIZA’s ‌viability in future ⁤elections.

**Editor:** Thank you for your insights, Dr. Kostopoulos.‍ It ⁢will⁢ be interesting to see how these developments unfold in the coming months.

**Dr.⁤ Kostopoulos:** Thank ‍you for having me. The political landscape is certainly shifting, and SYRIZA’s⁢ responses will‌ be pivotal in ‌shaping Greece’s political‍ future.
