I am resigning from my positions in SYRIZA, when will he leave the party

The developments in the official opposition party, with Theodora Tzakri, are fast-paced to reiterate today her intention to resign today from the position of secretary of the Parliamentary Group and from the SYRIZA bodies, adding that for the time being she remains in the parliamentary group of the party.

At the same time, Ms. Tzakri left open the possibility of leaving SYRIZA, noting that “my actions will evolve in the coming days”.

As she also said in another part of her interview with ANT1, “there is a plan”.

“Those people who waved their handkerchiefs at me and said ‘hello’, what did they think I was going to do? They have great audacity who drove the majority of the delegates to talk about apostates. There are no defectors but people who were expelled” said Mrs. Jakri.

Regarding the hints Giannoulis, Ms. Tzakri said that he “judges other people’s affairs on his own, I remember being accused of colluding with PASOK. I will not go to any PASOK”.

Theodora Tzakri said, finally, that she will be integrated into the Kasselaki movement when it develops into a party.

What are ‍the potential consequences⁤ of SYRIZA’s leadership changes on its electoral success in the ⁢future?

**Interview with Political Analyst Dr. Elena⁢ Papadakis on Recent Developments within SYRIZA**

**Interviewer:** Thank you for joining us today, Dr. Papadakis. There have been significant changes within SYRIZA, especially following Alexis Tsipras’s ⁢resignation as party leader after ‌their poor⁣ electoral performance. Now, Theodora ‌Tzakri ‍has also announced her intention to resign from the position of⁣ secretary‌ of the Parliamentary Group. What do you make of these rapid developments?

**Dr. Papadakis:** Thank you for⁢ having me. Yes, these developments are indeed significant and reflect a ‌broader crisis within SYRIZA. Tsipras’s resignation marks the end of an era; he has been a prominent figure in Greek politics ‌since 2008 and ⁣his leadership helped elevate the party’s status dramatically. However, the party’s recent electoral defeats ‍have raised questions about its relevance and direction, as evident by his departure [[1](https://www.politico.eu/article/greek-opposition-leader-tsipras-resigns-syriza-chief-after-election-defeat/)].

**Interviewer:** Tzakri’s resignation seems to signify further instability within the ⁣party. What‍ implications ⁤do you think this will have on SYRIZA’s position as‍ the main opposition?

**Dr. Papadakis:** Tzakri’s decision to step down could indicate a further fragmentation ⁣within SYRIZA. It raises concerns about party cohesion and‍ leadership, especially with the Socialist Pasok party gaining traction as a potential⁤ challenger for the opposition status [[1](https://www.politico.eu/article/greek-opposition-leader-tsipras-resigns-syriza-chief-after-election-defeat/)]. If ⁢prominent figures like Tzakri begin to⁣ leave, it may suggest‍ a loss of confidence in ‍SYRIZA’s future and could lead to a more pronounced division⁢ in the opposition landscape.

**Interviewer:** With‍ these changes, what strategies do ‌you think SYRIZA ⁤should adopt ‍moving forward?

**Dr. Papadakis:** First, SYRIZA needs to engage in introspection ⁤to understand ‍the reasons behind its electoral decline. They must redefine their vision⁣ and possibly‌ rebrand to resonate ⁣with the ‍electorate. Building a new, diverse leadership team that can unify the party’s factions will be‍ crucial. Moreover, they need ‍to develop compelling policy ⁤alternatives that ‌align with the voters’⁢ concerns, especially given ‌the⁤ rise of Pasok as ‍a formidable option [[1](https://www.politico.eu/article/greek-opposition-leader-tsipras-resigns-syriza-chief-after-election-defeat/)].

**Interviewer:** Thank you for sharing your ⁤insights, Dr. Papadakis. It will ‍be interesting to see how SYRIZA navigates these ⁤challenges in the coming months.

**Dr. Papadakis:** My pleasure. The next few months will be critical for ⁣SYRIZA, and their ability to adapt will significantly impact their ⁢role in Greek ⁢politics.
