I am resigning from my positions in SYRIZA, when will he leave the party

The developments in the official opposition party, with Theodora Tzakri, are fast-paced to reiterate today her intention to resign today from the position of secretary of the Parliamentary Group and from the SYRIZA bodies, adding that for the time being she remains in the parliamentary group of the party.

At the same time, Ms. Tzakri left open the possibility of leaving SYRIZA, noting that “my actions will evolve in the coming days”.

As she also said in another part of her interview with ANT1, “there is a plan”.

“Those people who waved their handkerchiefs at me and said ‘hello’, what did they think I was going to do? They have great audacity who drove the majority of the delegates to talk about apostates. There are no defectors but people who were expelled” said Mrs. Jakri.

Regarding the hints Giannoulis, Mrs. Tzakri said that he “judges other people’s affairs on his own, I remember being accused of colluding with PASOK. I will not go to any PASOK”.

Theodora Tzakri said, finally, that she will be integrated into the Kasselaki movement when it develops into a party.

What strategies should‌ SYRIZA implement to address the fragmentation and maintain its position as a key opposition party in Greece?

**Interview with Political Analyst on SYRIZA’s Recent Developments**

**Interviewer:** Welcome ⁢to ⁤our program,‌ where we discuss the latest political developments in Greece. Today,‍ we’re focusing on the significant shifts within ⁤the opposition party SYRIZA, particularly following Theodora Tzakri’s announcement regarding her resignation. Joining us is Dr. Maria Kostopoulos, a political analyst specializing in Greek ‌politics. Thank you for being here, Dr. Kostopoulos.

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** Thank you for having me. It’s a pleasure to be here to discuss these important developments.

**Interviewer:** Let’s dive straight in. ‌Theodora Tzakri has announced her intention‍ to step down from her ⁤role as secretary of SYRIZA’s parliamentary group. What does her resignation ‍signify⁣ for⁢ the party?

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** Tzakri’s decision to resign is quite telling. It reflects a broader rift within SYRIZA and highlights the ongoing turmoil within the party, especially following ‍the leadership change ⁢with⁤ Stefanos Kasselakis. ⁢Her choice to join Kasselakis’ new party indicates ⁤a significant factional shift‍ within SYRIZA, ⁤which could lead ⁣to the weakening of its ⁤current structure.

**Interviewer:** She mentioned‌ that⁣ she would step down ‍but⁣ not formally leave SYRIZA until the new ⁤party is established. What impact might this have on the dynamics within SYRIZA in the meantime?

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** Holding onto⁣ her position while preparing for a transition suggests a strategic move. Tzakri⁢ could be trying to retain her influence within SYRIZA while gauging the reactions ‌from her colleagues and constituents. ⁤This may create a temporary divide where some members might feel compelled to follow her lead, thus ‌causing further fragmentation within the party as it ‍faces its internal challenges.

**Interviewer:** What does this fragmentation imply for SYRIZA as the official opposition?

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** Fragmentation within the opposition can be detrimental.⁢ It‍ might dilute their ⁤collective voice‍ and⁤ weaken their ability to⁣ challenge the current government effectively. A divided SYRIZA could struggle to present a unified front on critical issues, thus providing an ‌opportunity for the ruling⁣ party to consolidate its position.

**Interviewer:** In your view, how should⁣ SYRIZA respond to these internal challenges to maintain its relevance in Greek politics?

**Dr. Kostopoulos:**⁣ SYRIZA needs to engage in serious introspection and possibly‌ rethink its‌ strategy and leadership‌ approach. They should work toward rebuilding ‌internal ‍cohesion by addressing the concerns of their factions and creating a more ‍inclusive environment. Additionally,⁤ they‌ must articulate a clear and compelling vision‌ to regain trust from the electorate.

**Interviewer:** Thank you, Dr. Kostopoulos, for your insights on Tzakri’s resignation and its implications for ‌SYRIZA. ‍It’s⁣ certainly a critical ⁤time for the ‌party, ⁣and we will continue to monitor these developments closely.

**Dr. Kostopoulos:** Thank you‌ for the opportunity to discuss these important issues.

**Interviewer:** And thank you to our viewers for tuning in. Be sure to stay updated on the unfolding political landscape in Greece.
