The actress was in the courtrooms on Friday, September 13, testifying in favor of father Antonio.
“I was a volunteer at Kivoto. In 2005, the then Minister of Culture approached some theater actors to take some gifts to the Ark. Indeed, we went with the difference that I and some others stayed and continued to the Ark. I was impressed by the work of father Antonio and the dignity of the children”, said Panagiota Vlanti.
Panagiota Vlanti added: “I had also done a show in 2008-09. I also went to Chios after the show one summer. I had contact with the children and some I am still in touch with now. I have to say that I met an environment of dignity and respect. I saw children raised from delinquent families, I don’t know what happened to them. I really admire him for his persistence and courage and all that he had built,” he testified about Father Antonio.
