Hyundai’s business sedan to retire after 40 years on the assembly line

The current Hyundai Sonata has been produced since 2019, and according to insiders, the sedan will still be locally updated during the year. The Sonata’s life cycle is likely to be completed by 2025 – on the eve of the 40th anniversary since the debut of the first generation in 1985. Journalists remind that Sonata is the main long-liver of the South Korean automobile market, and over 37 years, more than nine million cars have found buyers.
