PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) has launched the All New Hyundai Santa Fe in Indonesia, Thursday (24/10). Interestingly, this vehicle is not the last product that Hyundai will launch in Indonesia this year, but there are still two more cars.
Fransiskus Soerjopranoto as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PT HMID did not provide any leaks regarding the exact launch date for these products. However, he confirmed that the vehicle came from the environmentally friendly segment.
“This year we are introducing new models, perhaps including enhanced products, including new full models like the All New Santa Fe, there will be approximately seven models. We still have two (more models) left this year,” said Frans in Senayan, Central Jakarta.

“So we will launch again, there will be electric cars, yes. Then there will be hybrid cars. So just wait for the game date,” he added.
Until now, there have been no leaks regarding the two new models. However, it is very likely that the cars in question are the Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and Hyundai Ioniq 6 facelift. Apart from that, there is the possibility of a Hyundai Venue, but this vehicle is not available in an environmentally friendly version.
“Then next year the question is, we have made a plan, a plan to introduce new products. Usually, as I said, if possible we introduce a minimum of 5-6 new products in Indonesia,” he said.
Frans then explained the reasons why his party wants to launch 5-6 new products a year in Indonesia. According to him, every two months, consumers have a new choice.
“Why? Why? So every two months there are new products in Indonesia and especially because of what I said earlier, the market in Indonesia is going down,” he said.
“Well, with the new product we hope to be able to reach at least 1 million units a year. That’s where Hyundai wants to contribute, especially since it has invested in Indonesia,” he added.
