Hyundai introduced the restyled Elantra sedan, which is sold under the name Avante in the Korean market, and launched it on sale.
The novelty received a reduced radiator grille, narrower optics and large front air intakes, an updated rear bumper and wheels in a new design. Inside, changes are limited to new color combinations of trim and materials, as well as the introduction of a number of features.
With restyling, the Hyundai Elantra received a built-in DVR, a digital key (compatible with smartphones or smart watches), as well as a climate control function when passengers leave the cabin to prevent moisture accumulation and combat mold. In the maximum configuration, the sedan is equipped with a digital instrument panel and a touch screen multimedia system with a diagonal of 10.25 inches.
In South Korea, Hyundai Elantra is equipped with a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with 123 hp, a liquefied gas engine of this volume (120 hp), as well as a hybrid power plant (1.6 l; 141 hp).
