Hypocrisy for ‘Left Green’ Government; Joy Mathew says that he is with the students in the film institute strike
Kozhikode: K.R. Actor Joy Mathew says he is with students in the Narayanan Film Institute strike. He also criticized the Left government for making students cling to the false pretense that they are with the marginalized, Dalits and Adivasis. Joy Mathew’s response was through a Facebook post.
‘K.R. All that needs to be done to end the Narayanan Film Institute student strike is Adoorji, the pride of Malayalam cinema, understand that this is not an elephant issue and coolly step down.

Joymathyu said that the Kerala government should not dream of sacking Adoor or director Shankar Mohanan on the issue.

Joy Mathew added, “When you think regarding this left wing, it is the people who vehemently opposed Adoor’s best film ‘Mukhamukham’ as anti-communist,” added Joy Mathew.
The students and cleaning workers are protesting once morest caste discrimination in the institute. Director Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s statements regarding the strike were also controversial. Adoor had said that there is no caste discrimination.
At the same time, many celebrities from the film industry including Ashiq Abu, Rajeev Ravi and Jio Baby came forward to support the strike.
