Sumar’s spokesperson in Congress, Marta Lois, has described the PP’s position in relation to the negotiations that took place with Junts prior to the formation of the new Government as an act of “hypocrisy” and “cynicism.” She has done so following the criticism of PSOE and Sumar by the popular ones and that it was now known that PP and Junts met in the first fortnight of August. In response to questions from journalists at an event in A Coruña, prior to a meeting with court-appointed lawyers, he defined the PP’s position as a “political exercise of cynicism”, a party regarding which he said he “was also interested” in speaking with the independentists to form a government and that, therefore, “those contacts are confirmed.” “One more example of this exercise of cynicism by Mr. Feijóo and the PP,” she asserted to question that the PP criticizes “when there is a policy of dialogue to reach agreements.” “It’s Sumar’s DNA,” Lois stressed in this regard.
