Hybrid Beats (30/06/2023 & 01/07/2023) is a two-day open-air festival that explores and stages the multi-layered aesthetics of translocal spaces around Wallensteinplatz in Vienna’s Brigittenau through a series of dance performances and music concerts.
The Hybrid Beats Festival presents a curated selection of contemporary artistic perspectives on translocality, which reveal interfaces, interactions and differences and create new hybrid cultural forms. Who is seen, heard and can participate in shaping these translocal spaces? How can we break down traditional boundaries and barriers to create spaces that are accessible? And how can we fight isolation and make hybrid spaces more tangible?
