A Wreath protest action demands Suga to leave BTS, after his drunk driving incident occurred.

On Tuesday (13/8) a protest with a wreath asking Suga to leave BTS was seen in front of the Hybe building in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

The protesters displayed messages such as “Min Yoongi, leave the team”, “You are the one who let go of our hands”, and “Before standing in the photo line”.

Then someone who organized the protest made a statement, that:

“This is not a coordinated action by the entire fandom, as these wreaths were sent by individuals. We are holding this protest because no action was taken after Hybe, Big Hit Music, and Suga released false statements,” as reported by allkpop.

In addition, criticism of Suga became increasingly critical and heated after he was arrested by police on August 6, for riding an electric scooter while drunk.

However, what made fans disappointed and expressed frustration was when Big Hit Music and Suga gave a false statement, by mentioning the scooter as electric kickboard and claimed that he only had a glass of beer.

However, the fact is that the alcohol content in his blood was measured at 0.227%, which shows that the level has exceeded the South Korean legal tolerance limit of 0.03%.

Many Armies regret this and some Armies have also used social media to demand that Suga leave the group.

However, posts from other Army who continue to support and encourage Suga also often appear, which causes heated debates in fandom.

The Army who organized the protest said that if BigHit Music does not release an additional statement, they will consider escalating the protest by holding a truck protest. (Z-10)
