If you follow the news with us, you will be aware that at the moment there are a lot of new rumors and information concerning possible future graphics cards NVIDIA RTX 4070 SUPER et 4080 SUPER. Today again, we have something new in this area with the monitoring software HWiNFO which adds the RTX 4080 SUPER in its latest update.

So, the developer of HWiNFO has not revealed the source of this update. However, some companies that make monitoring software have been known to collect anonymous data which is then used to support new hardware. This update could be related to the recently discovered PCIe ID in the public repository, which could give HWiNFO developers a preliminary idea of the ID corresponding to this model. However, neither the PCI ID repository nor HWiNFO confirm that this is the final ID. In fact, there is no mention of support, just that the RTX 4080 SUPER has been added to the software.
So don’t get carried away just because HWiNFO mentions something in the changelog. This does not mean that the name and characteristics of the card are already decided. On the contrary, even the most reliable leakers have differing opinions on the specifications. However, it is clear that NVIDIA is working on something at its premises, which could result in a new benchmark, it remains to be seen what exactly it is.
Rumors about the RTX 4080 SUPER suggest it could have either a GPU AD102, or an AD103, but only one source mentioned the first option. It seems more likely that the card will have the full specifications of the AD103 and faster memory and 20 GB. However, this version should not be expected anytime soon, some sources believe that it is being considered for release early 2024. And that’s good, by then we hope to be installed in our new premises for these tests!
