Hwang Eui-jo, who was investigated by the police as a complainant following a private life video was circulated, left the country.

Hwang Ui-jo’s agent said on the 3rd, “Hwang Ui-jo left the country (to England) on the 2nd. He went to his team.”

Hwang Eui-jo, a member of Nottingham Forest in the English Professional Football Premier League (EPL), appeared at the police as a complainant on the 1st and gave detailed information regarding the privacy disclosure case.

An Instagram user who claimed to be Hwang Ui-jo’s ex-girlfriend posted photos and videos of Hwang Ui-jo and women on the 25th of last month, claiming that “Hwang Ui-jo has relationships with many women and is causing damage.”

The next day, Hwang Eui-jo filed a complaint once morest the netizen to the police for defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and for intimidation and coercion using filmed materials under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.

Hwang Eui-jo’s side claims that his mobile phone was stolen on November 4 last year while he was playing for Olympiacos in Greece, and that he received threatening messages from early May.

While the lease of FC Seoul ended in June, it is unclear whether it will be used in the 2023-2024 season in Nottingham, the original team.

Hwang Ui-jo’s contract with Nottingham runs until June 2025.
