This Saturday, an investigating judge from Liège placed the Hutoise born in 1980 under arrest who, this Friday, stabbed her companion, a man born in 1973 (see our edition for this Saturday). It is a real drama of incredible violence that took place in a house located in the rue des Vignes in Huy. Indeed, the lady carried no less than 34 stab wounds to her companion, including 20 to the rib cage! It was 1:31 p.m. when the emergency services were called. A Smur from the Huy Regional Hospital Center (CHRH) and an ambulance from the Hemeco zone firefighters went to the home located not far from Huy station. On the spot, they discovered a scene of unusual violence. Indeed, the resident of the premises had just carried an impressive series of stab wounds to her companion. It is a miracle if the latter had not already died when the ambulance arrived following the attack he had just suffered. The emergency services quickly transferred the man to the CHRH.
The victim had to undergo at least one surgery late Friday afternoon. Doctors were particularly concerned about the condition of the 40-year-old.

Meanwhile, the suspect of this terrible attack was arrested by the police. She was heard by the police regarding her motives. The reasons why she acted in this way were not specified. The Liège public prosecutor’s office has been informed of the facts. The magistrate on duty put the file to the instruction with a request for an arrest warrant for the count of attempted murder.
This Saturday, during the morning, the 30-year-old was seen by an investigating judge from Liège. Following this interview, he decided to issue an arrest warrant for the suspect. The latter will probably go to the council chambers in the coming days. The President of the Council Chamber will then decide to extend or lift this arrest warrant measure.
Very worrying condition
Few people wished to speak about this drama given its private nature. But they agree that these were particularly violent acts. “These are not especially well-known people in Huy”told us a source who preferred not to dwell on this sad drama.
This Saturday, the victim was still alive, but his condition was still judged by doctors to be very worrying. At the current stage, it is too early to comment on its chances of survival or the consequences that it could keep.
