Hunters clean and fill water troughs

On Sunday, while some sleep in, others, very invested, get up at dawn to help wildlife. They are the hunters of Montagnac.

They roll up their sleeves… And give their time for the animal cause!

Indeed, like every three weeks for more than a month and a half, the hunters are busy, and, equipped with brooms and rakes, they will check and clean the water troughs. Then, with water cisterns, they will feed the many drinking troughs.

Thus are regularly cleaned and supplied with water the many drinking troughs of the municipal territory. Objective: to meet the needs of wildlife in these critical periods of extreme heat that harm animals, especially young birds. The City of Montagnac provides all its logistical assistance to these valiant volunteers.
