Keep
The future is uncertain. We can only know what happened in the past because others, in their present, documented it, as well as what happens in the now, because we live that moment. However, we cannot know what will happen tomorrow. Or so we think.
In 1555, the French philosopher, physician, mathematician, astrologer and alchemist Michel de Nôtre-Dame, better known as Nostradamus, published a book titled ‘The Prohéties‘(‘ The Prophecies’). In this writing, the author made a series of predictions in the form of 942 poetic quatrains, somewhat ambiguous, dark and full of metaphors, regarding what would happen in the future. And the most curious thing is that many assure that some of their predictions they have hit the nail on the head.
Thus, there are few who assure that Nostradamus anticipated the London fire of 1566 with the following verses:
And that he did the same with him assassination of Henry IV of France in 1619:
He is also credited with predicting the launch of the atomic hype by the United States on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945:
The death of the president of the United States John F. Kennedy in 1963 and the fall of the Twin Towers of New York in the attacks of September 11, 2001, this last event with the following words
And what will 2022 bring us?
Nostradamus’ predictions for 2022
This 2022 does not get rid of the dark predictions of the French philosopher and the experts who analyze his texts see in his prophecies the following catastrophic events:
Bad news for the planet
The climate change it is a reality that is becoming more and more evident. This year Nostradamus assures that there will be serious natural catastrophes derived from the greenhouse effect.
To this would be added droughts and floods that would last for a long time.
Price hike
The truth is that the coronavirus pandemic has not only generated a global health crisis, but also a deep economic crisis that for many it will be difficult to overcome. For this reason, it is not difficult to believe Nostradamus’s premonition in this sense, which can be interpreted as the arrival of a famine or a world crisis:
Fall of the European Union
Another of Nostradamus’s supposed predictions is the fall of the European Union, which would have started in 2016, with the Brexit. The phrase that supposedly predicts the end of the EU is the following:
The truth is that it is not specified what will precipitate this fall, but there is another event, which might refer to a war or siege of a big city, which some relate to the end of the European Union:
Death of a political leader
Finally, some say that Nostradamus predicts the death of a political leader and some even speculate on the names of Joe Biden, Queen Elizabeth II of England and even the leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-Un.
However, it is difficult to know if these predictions will come true and if these events are truly the true reflection of the words of Nostradamus. Everything is subject to interpretation and we will have to wait to see what 2022 brings us.
