Spain took a big step towards winning the group thanks to a safe success in Cyprus. Because the Scots, who have also already qualified for Germany, only played 2-2 in Georgia, the lead of the Iberians in second place is 2 points before the last game. Servette keeper Joël Mall had to reach behind himself three times by the 28th minute. Only 16-year-old Lamine Yamal scored the 1-0 in a skilful manner.
