Hungary is lobbying for a partial lifting of sanctions against Belarusian woodworking products, Belarusian Ambassador to Hungary Vladimir Ulakhovich said on state TV.
“The most sensitive thing for us is the loss in our export portfolio. They relate to sanctioned products: these are mineral fertilizers, which were supplied here (to Hungary – ed.), woodworking. By the way, in woodworking, our Hungarian partners are a kind of lobbyists in order to at least break through the quotas for pellets, which are in great demand on the European market,” Ulakhovich said.
He also claims that the regime “despite everything, there are still many friends in Europe.”
