Swiss Talent Forum

This year, 70 delegates from 25 countries, including Hungary, took part in the Swiss Talent Forum in Nottwil, Switzerland.
Talented people between the ages of 18 and 23 were invited to the “Swiss Youth Research” event to get to know each other and learn from renowned professionals, the Hungarian Innovation Association announced. The theme of this year’s forum was “Learning for the Future”. Participating from Hungary was Barbara Ágoston, who previously won the 32nd National Olympiad for Science and Innovation and is currently a student at Imperial College London. As a former student of the Lajos Batthyány High School in Nagykanizsa, she and her team of eight were looking for an answer to how to identify those employee competencies that are likely to become more valuable in the future. The multinational company La Roche, as a mentor, expected the young people to come up with innovative ideas using AI. After two days of working together, the solutions were presented to the other participants.
The Swiss Talent Forum has been organized by the Swiss Foundation “Youth in Science” since 2009. Hungary has been sending students to the event since 2011.
