The Christmas dinner of a subsidiary of aircraft manufacturer Airbus in France turned out to be a bitter pill. More than seven hundred employees suffered from complaints such as violent vomiting or diarrhea following dinner.
The dinner was held for employees of the Airbus Atlantic company in Montoir-de-Bretagne, near the city of Nantes. Airplane seats for passengers and pilots are made in the factory.
The Christmas dinner took place last Thursday in the company restaurant of the factory. It is unknown what was on the menu.
The regional health service has announced that it is investigating the cause of the massive food poisoning.
