Senator and former peace negotiator Humbert of the Street suffered a serious health mishap Congress of the Republic.
In a video which was quickly shared on social networks, several congressmen are seen surrounding De la Calle. Apparently, the senator was stating that he had seasickness.
Soon a team of health professionals entered the parliamentary premises to attend to De la Calle, who although he walked away, was later taken in a wheelchair to the exit.
For now, it is known that the senator’s state of health is stable and has not suffered major complications.
For his role as a peace negotiator with the Farc In the government of Juan Manuel Santos, De la Calle is one of the congressmen who is supporting the dialogues with the ELN, although he differs in some details with the proposal of the Petro Government.
