The fact
Last Thursday, José Ernesto Schulman, president of the Argentine League for Human Rights (LADH), attacked a ticket seller at the bus terminal from Santa Clara of the Sea.
The episode was recorded by the local video camera and in the images you can see the man arguing, taking pictures and then going behind the counter to attack her.
After the diffusion of the images, Schulman posted a message on his personal Facebook account in which he was sorry for what happened and apologized.
“To my colleagues, I publicly apologize for having carried out reprehensible conduct, in a bus terminal. I am aware that my behavior towards a female worker It was unacceptable and nothing justifies it.”he maintained in the statement.
“As many know, I am physically disabled and they spent many hours waiting for a bus to return, which caused me enormous pain and dislocated me,” he argued.
“That was really what happened to me. I am very sorry for these actions, contrary to my convictions and so I let the worker know”, he concluded.
Likewise, from the LADH they spoke regarding what happened and reported that the leader “told us what happened and requested a license from his responsibilities and made himself available to what the agency has.”
And they added: “Consequently, this management has decided to accept the license request and begin an evaluation process to take the corresponding measures.”
